Family harmonies and strong musicianship bring a refreshing musical experience as Alison MacGregor and Scott MacGregor (Dad) sing you through a lifetime of joyous memories, romantic reflection, and back-to-belly laughter – all in one show.
While singing the classic favorites and select originals, Alison MacGregor plays her guitar with authentic Nashville technique. From early childhood, Alison developed discipline and style in her singing and through her teenage years participating in church and school activities. Alison’s singing style has become uniquely her own, however, she is often compared to Rhonda Vincent and Alison Krauss -with the sense of humour of Mini Pearl. Scott MacGregor is a self-professed “Side man,” providing solid upright bass accompaniment, family duet harmonies, and the odd solo. He is often the jovial brunt of Alison’s humorous antics both on and off stage. With a lifetime of playing country music, Scott is a good fit with Alison’s classic repertoire.
